We are excited to invite K12 school teachers and schools , and higher education faculty and practitioners across the UAE to submit chapter proposals for the book titled Ethical AI in Action: Case Studies from UAE Classrooms. This publication aims to showcase real-world case studies of implemented AI/Generative AI (GenAI) practices in classrooms, with a focus on ethical considerations and their impact on teaching and learning.

Key Details:

 

  • Who Can Submit:​

  • All K12 school teachers and schools, and higher education faculty  in the UAE.

​

  • Proposal Requirements:

    • Word Count: 1,000 words

    • Format:

      1. Title: Proposed title of the chapter

      2. Introduction: Overview of the AI/GenAI implementation and context (e.g., school/group of schools, grade levels, higher education levels, discipline).

      3. Implementation Details: Description of the project, including objectives, tools used, teaching strategies, and ethical considerations.

      4. Outcomes and Lessons Learned: Key results, challenges, and impact on students and teachers, learning, assessment design.

      5. Conclusion: Recommendations and future directions.

Important Notes:

​

  • Chapters must detail implemented AI/GenAI projects in classrooms in schools or universities in the UAE.

  • The focus should be on the ethical implementation of AI/GenAI in education.

  • We are looking to select 10-12 case study chapters for inclusion in the handbook.

 

This is an excellent opportunity to share your innovative work with a wider audience and contribute to the growing body of knowledge on ethical AI practices in education.
